Assessment & Intervention
For weekly couples therapy, we will meet for 80-minutes during a dedicated day and time.
A solid assessment is crucial to making the most of our time (and of your resources). During this phase you will complete the Love Lab outside of session. I will also be spending time outside of session reviewing the data, preparing for feedback, and developing a tailored plan for your relationship.
Once complete with the assessment, get ready to roll up your sleeves as it is time for us to get to work with intervention. Together we will increase insight into current dynamics and turn that into action and new ways of relating. Odds are there will be some past hurts, don't fret as we will work to clear out those old wounds to make space for the connection you are craving.
$275 per session
Additional one-time fee for Love Lab - will discuss in initial appointment.

TWO-DAY.
Intended for couples who want quick results, this two-day package includes the entire assessment phase as well as therapy and skill-building.
On the first day, couples complete their assessment interviews and during the lunch break the provider conducts an analysis of the relationship based on the results of the couple’s Relationship Checkup Questionnaires and interview information. After lunch, the couple receives feedback on the strengths and challenges of the relationship, as well as recommendations for therapy. Positive interventions aimed at reconnection are provided before the day ends.
On the second day, couples participate in skill-building and therapy exercises that are selected to help them make significant progress through their issues in a short amount of time.
Within a week of the retreat, you will receive a personalized follow-up-plan with details about the interventions used over the weekend and ‘next steps’ to help keep you moving forward in the relationship.
You will receive 12-hours of direct intervention.

THREE-DAY.
Intended for couples who want quick results, this three-day package includes the entire assessment phase as well as two full-days of therapy and skill-building.
On the first day, couples complete their assessment interviews, provider conducts an analysis of the relationship based on the results of the couple’s Relationship Checkup Questionnaires and interview information. Before breaking for the day, the couple receives feedback on the strengths and challenges of the relationship, as well as recommendations for therapy.
On the second and third day, couples participate in skill-building and therapy exercises that are selected to help them make significant progress through their issues in a short amount of time.
Within a week of the retreat, you will receive a personalized follow-up-plan with details about the interventions used over the three-days and ‘next steps’ to help keep you moving forward in the relationship.
You will receive 18-hours of direct intervention.

PRE-MARITAL (6-HOURS).
Intended for couples who are committed to lifelong journey together and who want to gather more tools to support a healthy relationship. It is common for issues to arise as a relationship develops. This day can facilitate you and your partner learning how to compassionately voice concerns and complaints and how to navigate making intentional decisions as a team. Ready to invest in your future, then this may be a gift to your relationship.

INTENSIVE (3- OR 4-HOUR).
Maybe you have an issue that needs to be addressed in a timely fashion, have schedules that are not amenable to weekly appointments, or are wanting to jumpstart your couples work. Option is available for both new and current clients.

EXPRESS RELATIONSHIP ASSESSMENT (4-HOUR).
If you are eager to jumpstart your couples therapy process this package is for you. Included is the state-of-the-art Gottman Love Lab. Once complete, you will be ready to jump into feedback and then intervention phase of couples work!

ONE-DAY COMPLETE RELATIONSHIP ASSESSMENT (6-HOUR).
Similar to the express relationship assessment, but with a bit more. Included is the state-of-the-art Gottman Love Lab. You will receive feedback, begin to learn some skills, and immediately be able to move into intervention at the following appointment.

Private Retreat Location.
If you reside in Bellingham, or decide to travel and stay in Bellingham, we can discuss holding the retreat at your home, vacation residence, or my office.
If you are out-of-town, then the retreat will be held virtually. You will be mailed all material in advance of the retreat. The retreats are equally effective, whether in person or remote. Be confident that the quality of work is not dependent on the location of our meeting.
